Constructed in the late 80’s, the building was discovered to have non-compliant, non-existent perimeter fire containment. In the event of a fire, a fire could travel from one floor to the floor above without any barrier. Haas Insulation was contracted to install a code compliant Hilti perimeter fire containment system in all the condominium units. This presented many challenges working in occupied units. Haas Insulation was able to overcome these challenges with increased supervision, excellent communication, and attention to detail and unit owners concerns.
